Many years have passed since the end of the Locust-Human war. All has been quiet and the COG has not only picked itself back up from the rubble, but it has thrived. Many of the destroyed cities have begun returning to their former glory and the Stranded are no longer isolated to camps.
But peace, it seems, never lasts. A new Locust Horde has risen and has begun its assault on the surface world. Even worse, somehow, the Imulsion parasite has survived and the Lambent are back. After the Second E-Day, much of the humans have become, once again, Stranded. The COG wasted no time at all opening its doors for new Gears to enlist. But watch out, these Locust aren't just out to take the surface of Sera for their own, no, they are out for revenge.
Will you join the fight to keep humanity alive or to destroy it? Or do you just want to be left alone to scrape together some sort of meager form of existence? The choice is yours.
