Supremacy; a fantasy equine role-play

There was once a time when Patria was part of the non-magical world. Horses were domestic and served humans, though they did not deserve the tolerance. Humans disrespected their planet, they took no notice when it was obviously dying and continued with their terrible ways. Only few realized, and it was already too late.

In the year of 2847 on the 5^th of December, Earth took it's final breaths. One moment there was calm and the next the plates of the Earth opened of molten rock spewed from the cracks, engulfing the land and killing all life. All life except those of four equines, whose blood was filled with more magic than any living Patrian equine today. As the planet died, they survived and protected themselves with the elements which they naturally possessed.

When the rock had hardened and the ash had settled, these four horses gathered together in what is now known as the Sanctus Ager or Sacred Land. It was here that they discussed what would become of the dead planet. Many arguments passed and several weeks later, it was decided. Each of the divine ones controlled one of the four elements so they would each create their own lands where their children would live.

Aer, the Air Goddess created a calm and beautiful land where peace would run through her children's veins. Aqualis, the Water God designed his children to be versatile and immune to the strains of change. Terra, the Earth Goddess crafted kind-hearted equines linked to each other by their strong traditions. Ignis, the Fire God modeled vicious warriors.

Many years passed and the children learned to live at peace with each other. It has been a long time and so far no wars have broken out, no one knows if one ever will. The elements expected Fire to be the first to attack but so far they had remained peaceful enough not to start anything serious. There were, of course, small battles over land, and feuds over power, but the Deus made sure to keep everything in balance.

Will the peace ever fall apart? That, my friend, is up to you.
