I stood alone in my lush meadow. Emerald eyes scanned the land as fog blew out of my nostrils. The sky, which had dark grey clouds rolling in, was a light grey. The smell of a storm, likely snow because of the temperature. I wanted to get my herd together before the bad weather hit over the lands. A large gust of wind tossed my tawny mane over my arched neck.
My coat was thick and it ruffled as the streams of air hit me. Though I stood out despite the darkening sky. Two large white socks and a blaze contrasted nicely against my ebony frame. The glowing green symbol on my chest of course could light the way and stood out.
I let out a loud bellowing call that echoed across my vast land. When I was finished I grabbed some of the cool grass in my lips and tore it from their stems. I would have at least two foals coming down this year. I was happy with that, having some progeny in the world.
I wondered if they would have the same markings as me. Perhaps maybe different but similar ones. I wondered what their personalities would be like, what they even looked like. I knew Animal and a mare called Hexxus were having at least one each.
Pride couldn't help itself as it came over my chest. The green on my chest suddenly glowed a bit brighter, I had to get them here before the storm did. I let out another call, throwing my muzzle in the air as I attempted to get a scent. Nothing came so I narrowed my eyes at the wind. My current enemy.
I turned my self around, letting the strong gusts hit my rump. I tried to get a good sniff again, but whatever was here just got carried away. Feathered limbs lifted as I two-beated around, harks flicked forward and trying to get something that indicated that my herd was here. ooc:// This is for current members of the herd, this is also open to anyone who wishes to join the herd.
The mandatory posting saying that you are still here will end in one week (the thread may continue)

Not sure how long I have been since I had no sense on time. It could have been four hours, it wouldn't matter to us in a way. Soon I was making my back to the herd which have been my home, since the stallion named 'Hal Jordan' took me in since I got lost and separated from my brother Baylee. This is why I have been away, I was looking for him again, and again I didn't find him.
I was not a normal three year old mare again. I was going to be a mother in a month time, and it was scaring me more. Slowly I walked into the land and spotted Hal Jordan. My barrel was a little bigger now than he have seen me before. I stopped by the main of the terrine, and shaked my dial again.
"I am here Hal. What is the meeting about?" I asked and snorted some more. "I am sorry for leaving expectantly. I was looking for my brother again" I gave him an explanation even though he didn't ask for one.
I bowed my dial again and then went to the lake, and began to drink it some more, as my thirst was quenched now, thankfully. Once I was full, I then lied by my favourite place which was under the silver birch tree. Folding my limbs underneath me, I then closed my green orbs, while my barrel was moving around due to the foal inside me was being active.

The cool breeze played with the auburn hair of the resting mare, relaxing in the shade of a willow tree somewhere in Mogo. Pride swelled inside the chestnut mare, her barrel heavy with foal. She has not had a foal before but she could feel there was more than one inside her, very active twins that romped inside her. Animal was proud to be giving Hal his first children, proud to know that she too would be a first time mother but it scared her as well. One foal would be easy to watch but twins would be a handful, always have to watch them both and make sure they are always in sight. Animal has not left Mogo since coming here, always staying close to Hal. To her, he was her soul mate and being to far away from him was a scarey thing.
It was not long that she began to feel twinges and tightening in her belly, a dull ache sat in her tail bone to tell her she was now in labor. The pain was immense and she tried to keep her breathing even while also not trying to freak out as it would slow down the process and make things very hard on her and the foals, gasping and moaning as she pain rolled through her. What felt like hours later she began to get the urge to push, causing her to throw down her head and concentrate all her energy to pushing the awaiting newborns out. With a final heave and five minutes between them both, a beautiful colt and filly laid upon the soft grass behind her.
After cleaning her new beautiful babies she had a good look at them, a black filly with the Indigo and Red lantern symbols on her while the bay colt had a blue one. The colt was slightly taller than his sister but as she watched them try to stand then walk, she noticed her colt had a limp. It was upsetting her to see him limp but she was sure it would disappear over time, they were both healthy and that's all that mattered to her. Animal nuzzled her foals before speaking to them softly in a motherly tone. "Come now darlings, it's time to meet your father and the others that live here" With that she moved off toward Hal's scent with the two foals trotting awkwardly behind her.
On the way they stopped several times for the foals to feed and rest, only minutes away from where everyone should be. Slowly walking they came to the clearing, blue pools with green specks fell upon her beloved before they fell upon the white unicorn mare that was with foal, laying in the grass. Animal snorted before coming to Hal's side and touching her muzzle to his shoulder, the colt and filly dropped to the ground at their hooves. Hal I would like to introduce to you Saint Walker and Mera. Animal spoke with pride as she gazed down upon their foals, happy that life was so much better since finding out about her second personality

Whipcord tossed at my sides as I waited for the others to show up. My movements, still at a trot, bounced with ease of the gusting lands. The smell of the storm that was getting closer and closer became more evident in my nostrils; my instincts ting and rang to get everyone away from here, and into shelter. But I would surely wait for the others to show up.
I stopped, settling down and letting my heart beat against my chest. My head was raised up high when a white body entered my green eyes. A smile formed on my face as I gave a nicker to great White Chocolate. "That is fine, Chocolate. I am glad to see you are doing fine. Did you find him?" I asked her, I knew she had been looking for him for a while now. I couldn't help but think of how careless this brother appeared to be. When I first met White she was standoffish, scared, and untrusting. But she seemed to be doing better now. "I called this because there is a good storm coming, I don't know if you can smell it or if that horn of yours could do any kind of sensing. But I just want to get everyone together so we can get some shelter." I answered.
My orbs watched her leave and get a drink and then she laid down. I turned my head away, lowering my cranium to grab some grass before taking another look around. It wasn't long after I had smelt Animal's scent, as well as new ones with her. Quickly I lifted my head up and spotted the chestnut mare, along with two foals by her side. A beaming smile easily found itself on my lips as she came closer.
One was jet black with what appeared to be symbols that were somewhat like mine -but different. The other one was a bay, a slight limp but I loved him all the same. He had a blue symbol on his chest. My lips touched her neck as she spoke, I lowered my head to look at the two bubs who lay at our hooves. After I took in their scent and gave them an affectionate nuzzle each I lifted my head back up. "They are beautiful Animal. Such perfect names." I replied. I lay on the ground, eyes looked up at my mother and a smile on my lips as she cleaned me off. I looked over at my brother, the one that I shared space with for so long. I gave him a large grin as I lifted myself off the ground and onto my wobbly legs. I got up easily, however, and began to walk with a lot of ease and minimal falling. I looked over at my brother, now dubbed Saint Walker, he was struggling a bit and seemed to be limping. I walked over to him and gave him an encouraging nibble on his neck. He was taller than me, but I didn't care,.
I walked onward, following mum and watching Walker. We are going to meet dad, what was he going to be like? I liked mom so far. I stood close to my brother, ready to lend a body in case he needed to rest up against me while we moved.
After awhile we made it to a tasty smelling meadow. There were two other horses here, one a near white one and the other one black like me. He had white markings though and a glowing green symbol on his chest. I looked down at my own and spotted the glowing Indigo Symbol. He must be my father. I looked at Saint Walker, he had a blue symbol on his chest. Yes, this must be my father. I wanted to trot over there and greet him, but I stayed with my mom and my brother.
When we got to the black stallion I felt exhausted and nearly fell on the ground. Walker was with me on this. But I looked up at my father, who my mother called Hal, and closed my eyes as he nuzzled me.

Helena heard the call and was trying to fight her way against the wind, she was at the far side of the land and was cantering across the ground, dodging trees and jumping over legs. She pushed her frame a little faster and skidded to slow to hope a log, she yawned and pushed herself back up into a gallop as the wind whipped her tresses and banner, tugging harshly at them so harshly that she had wince at the painful tugs. She scented the other horses and moved toward them slowing down to a bouncy trot and then finally a walk and she moved into the clearing tucking her crown to her chest, I am sorry for being so late Hal the wind slowed me down just a bit. She bowed and stepped back and found a spot to stand and wait to find out what this was about.

I listened the stallion. He was always so protective and I loved that. He was like another brother I haven't had. Now pregnant with my first foal I was really nervous and giving birth was really scary me now. My barrel was huge, showing the birth was nearer now. I exchanged the nuzzle back to the ebony stallion and shaked my head sadly.
"No I haven't found him. I guess I would never will either. I can stay here with you though right? I wouldn't be alone again, even when the child is born right?" I asked him, it may sound stupid but I was young, inexperienced and really skittish mare. I shone my alicorn but I wasn't able to control the storm, since my magic works with water only. "I felt it but I can't do nothing to prevent it I am really sorry about that. Trust me Hal, I can't get hurt by storms, unicorns are magical creatures so don't worry about me"
After I finished my drink from the water I noticed another mare came into the land with two foals. She gave birth to two! How did she managed that?, I would never know. All I am hoping is that there is one and just one. Folding my legs while I watched them contently and the foals were really cute. Soon enough my foal would come into the world, but for now I simple kept my distance away from the herd mare and her foals, knowing some mares were really protective over they young, and the last thing I want is to start a fight in the herd.
Lying on my side now, I closed my green eyes again, as I rested some more, my udders were beginning to drop now, showing my foal would be born pretty soon.
(I might have her give birth IF you can managed another character in the thread Anna)

beautiful girlsExcellent post.I want to thank you for this informative read, I really appreciate sharing this great post. Keep up your work. This looks absolutely perfect. All these tinny details are made with lot of background knowledge. I like it a lot. This was a useful post and I think it is rather easy to see from the other comments as well that this post is well written and useful.Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get something done…. all newspaper ads
