i'm the POISON that you need
i'm the HAND that feeds
if you FOLLOW i will lead These others with their fancy words, their selfish minds, their high-stepping, splendorous ways. These others did not impress her. Not much impressed her these days, if she were honest with herself, and she usually was quite frank. Dear, oh dear, how highly they thought of themselves. She would have a thing or two to teach them, if she were teacher, but alas, she is not.
She doubts she would even be fit to teach.
Doubts she'd be able to go twenty minutes without mortally wounding one of them.
And they are so fragile.
Her hooves are heavy as they permeate the soil beneath, churning it in the telltale double half-moon shape of her cloven hooves. She is not concerned with covering her tracks, however, no, she is never concerned with covering her tracks. Why hide, when you were strong, unbreakable, unshakable like she? The pine needles muffling her footfalls in certain places might tell you, if you listen closely, but, then again, Bleeze was never one for listening in the quiet.
She has much more practical things to do.
Golden eyes blinking, Bleeze continued her slow trek, weaving in and out of the thick trunks in her path. She lurks now, just on the edge of a clearing, and this is the third time she has made a complete circle of the opening. Unnerving? Perhaps, but she doesn't care. Bleeze is a creature of habit, routine, of cycle. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, she completes the same day. However, today, she has shaken up her routine a little, and she is feeling a little irritable for it. The shade beneath the pine boughs is cool and functions to keep others who would rather be in the sun away from her, because today, the mare has decided to participate in the most eloquent and unnecessary passtime on the face of the planet.
"People-watching".
So, the sabino Welsh parks it, leaning her thick rump against the trunk of a tree behind her, and dips her behorned head, the rather magnificent, curving structures framing her petite Welsh face, their ridges and scars pronounced and unabashed. The mare watches forward, and does not turn her head -- the ram horns present her with a terrible blind spot, the damned things, which is why she guarded her rear now with a tree --, preferring to hear, rather than strictly see. So, she waits, perhaps thinking that this isn't the best place for this, but preferring not to be overwhelmed.
She is like the highwayman, awaiting the unwitting traveller. However, it is physically impossible for her to be so sinister and haunting.

Gabriel's hooves thudded as he made his way along Idle forest. His twin harks were pricked, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. His orbs scanned around ,looking for any signs of someone interesting. And alas he did. His eyes swept over a mare.
His feathers fluttered softly that was intertwined into his mane. He flicked his long banner, and is ebony and ivory body made its way over to her.
"Afternoon las. I'm Gabriel. What might your name be?" he implied smiling at her. His tone was light and slightly flirty. He wasn't sure how she would take to him, so it was best not to try and push himself on her too much.
Not that that stopped him before but he wasn't really in the mood today.
"What brings you out here into the forest?" He asked her again, shifting his weight so it rested on a different hoof. A gentle breeze caught his mane, fluttering it forward against his cheek as he kept his gaze on hers, waiting for a response

deep shallow OCEANS
or HEARTS without SOUL
learn as your WORLDS collide
She cannot fathom the existence of gods, cannot perceive the supernatural, cannot equate the order of the universe and all its wonders. She cannot do spectacular things, no, she is mortal, but her eyes are keen, her ears are sharp, and, dear boy, she hits like a freight train.
And she heard you coming long before you reached her.
Please, you are not fooling anyone with your pretty trinkets and your honeyed words. No, not even Bleeze, who was never known for her intelligence. Her radar is locked in on deception, on trickery, perhaps her only saving grace in her little world of anger and dislike for others.
The heavy weight of the onyx pearl around her neck, pressing against her chest, gave Bleeze reassurance, and she seemed to ignore the stallion for a few long, silent moments, when the only sound was the creak of the pines as they blew in the wind. At last, her ears twitched backward and she lifted her head, turning it to the black and white that had approached her. They are opposites in color, she notices vaguely, before bowing her neck around to scratch at a spot on her belly with the blunt back of her right horn. He thinks he is pretty, she can tell. The way he carries himself gives it all away. No, Bleeze is not particularly smart, but she has common sense, perhaps more than the average airhead that stalked about the lands, pretending they were hot shit and that everybody should pay penance to them.
She spoke at last:
"The only reason I can think why you would want my name is so that you can waste my time." Her voice is low, but not threatening just yet, and her amber eyes rested on the black and white -- because that is all he really is to her at this point in time, a bastion of colors that is obscuring her view -- accusingly.
Of course, what Bleeze failed to realize was that she herself was merely standing around, waiting for someone interesting to come along when the male had appeared. She had, in essence, been wasting her own time.
Of course, she hardly finds him interesting. Not in the slightest.

Gabriel smirked at her.
"Oh I see. Well clearly you aren't worth my time. I can most certainly find someone who was much more interesting and worthy." Gabriel said coolly as he flicked his banner and turned the front half of his body aimng to turn around and leave. He swung his head around to glare at her one more time.
"And I have to congratulate you on having such a high opinion of yourself, when in all reality, you're just as bored as anyone of us" He said emphasizing the word 'us' as though she thought she was some kind of queen or someone important. Gabriel quickly aimed to knock her off her pegs as he began slowly loping away hooves leaving crescent shapes imprinted in the dirt path that lined the forest. He kept his ears cocked back , listening for any thing that might come. His gold eyes were narrowed slightly.
He hated those mares that thought they were better than everyone else. He was merely just trying to be friendly. If she wanted to be antisocial, then by all means she can be that way on her own without his company. There were plenty of other mares that would enjoy it

Exploded nourish this flame its been built on the ones we hate never knowing a last cry destined to bleed gates of fire come back brutality beat down with a vengeance of taking you I can't I could not wait for your death I'm not insane, I'm not insane. Ahh, but you didn't notice the other being that happened to be in the same area. He had been there all along, watching as the two equine conversed. The stallion was trying to flirt with the mare, and the mare wanted no part of it. For a moment, her words, and actions reminded the stud of his Arrabella. The one he couldn't save. Twin harks pinned against his crown for a moment before he started forward; his form starting to melt away from the shadows. Columns of titanium carried him easily down the steep slope, his void chasms locking in on the mare. Of course, he imagined some snooty reply she could give him, but today just wasn't day. He could very well end up doing something this female really doesn't want him doing. For example; these fangs he had were not just for looks. They were for a purpose, and that purpose usually involved him driving them as far into ones neck as he could possibly manage. Just at the thought it caused him to run his tongue along the sharp points in his mouth, and it made him grin. He couldn't help it if he was a sick fuck or not. He carried an aura with one, one that said 'Don't fuck with me.' It was cold, and uninviting.
Really now, let's be honest. He'd rather stay away from equine, but he'd become terribly bored, and he just loved to play with their minds anyway. Each obsidian dagger touched the ground softly, making it as though he was floating across the terra. Dirt clung to his daggers as he moved forward just to be discarded when he placed his hoof on the ground once more. He's head was held high; and one fang poked out faintly underneath his upper lip. He clearly didn't have any real interest in the mare, but of course, Runihura was naturally a trouble maker. He had no problem with poking his nose in places where it didn't belong. I'm not insane, I'm not insane. His lips worked their way into a grin, one that wasn't too pleasant to say the least, but his handsome mug made it work. If he wasn't so insane, and somewhat evil he might have made the perfect picture for someones ideal mate. Nay, he was not, however. He would never love again. He would never let a mare get to him the way she had, the way Arrabella had.
He approached bleeze with a bored expression gracing his constitution. He glanced in the direction the other stallion took off in, and then looked back toward the mare. "You really know how to run them off, don't you?" He muttered, his robust lyrics dancing among the soft breeze that began to blow through the clearing they stood in. He snorted softly, the breath being expelled from his body as he watched her. For some reason, he knew this would be hilarious delicious. She smelled good, as well. No, not her perfume. Her blood. He was, as I stated before, somewhat of a vampire. Blissful, eh?

i come with both TRUTH and LIE
is there DARKNESS without LIGHT
break of day with out imminent NIGHT
And here they come again, the parade of fools, carrying their proud selves high and mighty, hoisting themselves higher than they ever really were.
It was gratifying to Bleeze to see the grey rump of the stallion moving away from her. He had certainly hauled ass once he'd realized she wasn't going to simper and fuss over him like every other brainless bitch he'd encountered during his lifetime. And she was smug then, finding herself rather terrifying. It must have been the marking on her head that had done it, she mused silently, puffing in her smugness. It wasn't every day one ran across a fearsome creature like herself. The Welsh moved her rump away from the tree she had leaned against, tail flicking in triumph over her defined white hocks.
And then there was another.
Good Lord, they were buzzing like flies around shit today. Turning her head to get a proper look at this new idiot, Bleeze snorted, raising her head. He was quite a bit taller than she, but she was not one to discriminate in her irritation.
And she certainly noticed the fangs poking their pearlescent heads from the corners of his mouth. So he was dangerous, was he? Fantastic.
Bleeze is dangerous too, dear boy, that cranium of hers is thicker than the average scapula, and is hard as a concrete barrier. Best not to let her get any momentum.
Lifting her horned head, the sabino decided to take several steps back from the black male, nostrils expanding and contracting in their delicate teardrop shape to assess him, and those cute little ears of hers fixed upon him. Certainly, she was giving him much more attention than she had given the other male, and for good reason. Cloven hooves took her one more step back before she halted, blowing hot air out her nostrils.
"What do you want?" She asked, sounding petulant. She had only come to watch, not to interact, and here everyone was taking her mere presence as an open invitation to come on in, take off your skin, and rattle around in your bones.

A single brow quirked up as he watched the female take a few steps back, her nostrils flaring slightly. Was she afraid of him? Well, she should be. Finally, a mare with some sense about herself. The handsome stud thought. He continued forward, twin harks perked forward. His chasms were slightly amused; a dark amusement. "What do I want?" He repeated her question, cocking his head to the side as his strides continued to carry him toward the female. He glanced about their surroundings as if gesturing to the trees, and to the beauty of the forest. As if he actually cared about that. "Sight seeing, my dear lady. Not that I really care about the forest, but..." he trailed off, his eyes glancing over her. She was a beautiful little thing, but he wasn't here for her. She just happened to be some one else he ran into. Some one he would soon forget about. Yet, even though he was a thing of sin, he could not deny the fact that she did have some things going for her. His steady pace was something to admire. The way each column picked it's self up, and settled once more upon the ground with the least amount of noise was impressive. His whipcord of raven lashed through the hair once more, the tresses dragging across his ebony coat.
He honestly didn't want anything from the fae, but it was refreshing to see some one who recognized how potentially dangerous he could be. With a shake of his handsome crown, he eyed her over once more before saying. "I don't bite, darlin'. Not hard, anyway...depending on my reasons for biting. So, tell me. What is your calling?" He asked, his lyrics deep, and robust. He finally came to a stop a few meters away from her, his prying gaze still watching her closely. I'm not insane, I'm not insane. Maybe this mare would be smart enough to win his game. Lemme tell you, it's a rather dangerous one.

bleeding through all SPHERES
all our THOUGHTS, all our FEARS, gaining life
rising from ashen dust, KARMIC COST
Bleeze had never felt quite so much like a piece of meat in her entire life. The transition from being feared to fearing for herself was a sharp one, and she wasn't entirely sure that she liked it.
Of course, one can always tell oneself that one is not afraid, and to deny fear is to make it stronger, give it a will of its own. Suddenly, the dark was encroaching on her, in the form of this stallion, and Bleeze was forced to stand her ground, and she had to confess that she would rather face the dark in its physical form than in the ethereal one it usually confronted her with.
And it was confronting her now.
As the beast continued to move forward, Bleeze moved back, then around, hindquarters shuffling around as he began to insert himself into her personal space.
"Back off." Bleeze warned shortly, the words snapping on her tongue like ice as her ears drew back slightly, and her head came up again. This little dance they were doing, step for step, was making her uneasy, and this dumbass didn't seem intent on giving her any kind of comfortable space to occupy, so she could foresee them butting heads, literally. And so around she went, standing at an angle from the stallion now, white head staring him straight in the face. The ram horns curling on either side of her face offered her little in the way of reassurance, but she needed a minute to coax her wits back into their proper places again...
His comment about biting didn't do much for her, but her golden eyes flicked to his fangs, and she gave a loud snort. All thoughts of wasting time were gone now.
"You first." She demanded, finally stilling. Her tail still lashed in irritation over her flanks, however, creating a soft black curtain of movement behind her.

While the mare was some what disturbed by this game they were playing, Runihura was all the more amused. Bleeze was a mare that wouldn't back down, but wasn't so incredibly giddy, and stupid that it made him want to hurl. He had met a few mares during his time here, and he couldn't fathom there reasons for gawking all over him. It is a shame, however, that this mare thought that some icy words would make him stop his slow stalking. He side stepped to the side, his columns moving him beautifully, and easily. If he didn't hold this presence about him this might have been a lot better for the mare. However, the aura that followed him around was like a demon he couldn't rid himself of. He couldn't help it. "Darlin', harsh words do you no justice. I'm not afraid to face the wrath of such a pretty little female." He loved this attention the female was giving him whether she knew she was giving him attention or not.
When he had asked her what her calling was she replied with 'you first.' His audits flicked back for a moment. He wasn't accustomed with giving his name just yet. In fact, not one horse in these lands knew what to call him by. No one but himself, of course. "There's no reason for you to be so feisty, dear. I'm not going to touch you dear, unless you touch me first." He said, arching an eyebrow for a moment before his mouth quirking into a small smirk. "But since I do have some gentle man effects, I suppose I shall introduce myself. My name is Runihura. Now, sweetheart. It's your turn, so I have something else to call you other than these pathetic pet names." His tone was robust, and intoxication, yet dangerous all at the same time. He stood in the same spot he had been standing, but his void gaze was still stuck to her with that icy glare. I think it's suffice to say, he was enjoying this way too much. You could tell in the way his muscles quivered with anticipation. He hadn't had a good fight in a while, and their cruel politeness was intoxicating. It was hard to fathom the fact that they could be so crude while being so polite, but it was possible. Just look at the handsome stallion now. An eyebrow quirked up, and took a step forward, closing the space inbetween them now. "I'm waiting.

measured SOULS
weigh our HEARTS
judge our thoughts - NO Here we are, dears, at a standstill, the staredown between two titans, though one only in spirit. Nostrils flaring, ears attentive, they watch, one confident, the other disturbed.
The way he moved was distracting, Bleeze noted, like water flowing over rocks, and it mesmerized, probably much in the same way a cobra's slow weaving mesmerized before it delivered its fatal bite. She took her gaze from his graceful form and focused on his face, though this decision would cost her valuable reaction time if he chose to move suddenly at her. The tensing of muscles was a great leveler on an uneven playing field, and Bleeze knew all about uneven. Just test her now, boy, see how she moves, cautious and prepared. The other stallion was child's play, full of hot air and himself, but she knows your kind, the smooth kind, the dangerous kind. She sees the threat, and is not idle.
It also doesn't help that your teeth are showing, boy.
She listened in silence as he spoke, dipping her head and blowing at the ground several times, a typical display. If she flashed her own weaponry a little, maybe he would take the hint that he might be in just as much danger.
"Bleeze." She answered once she brought her petite Welsh head up again, the heavy onyx tapping against her deep chest once again, reminding her.
"It wasn't an issue of harshness, it was an issue of getting you to back your happy ass up off of me." She growled, short mane waving in straggling bits above her high crest as she shook her heavy head.

Ahh, there we go. The female finally allowed him to know her name. Bleeze? What did Bleeze mean? He tilted his head to the side, his gaze following hers. She was watching his movements at first, and then he saw her gaze linger on his face. The fangs. He rolled his eyes, and the fangs slowly extracted back inside his mouth. "Does that make things better, Bleeze?" He doubted that it would since she knew that they were still there, and if she was as smart as she looked she'd know that he could have his fangs out just as quickly as they disappeared. As she spoke once more about trying to get him to back his happy little ass up, his audits pinned against his crown. He lowered his head, his chasms sparking with hellfire and brimstone. "Tell me something, fae." He murmured, his words having a sharp tone to them. He really did not appreciate her, and her choice of words. Like a snake he started to move again, this time circling around her. His mane brushed against his neck, crest arched slightly so his head was lowered. He was not above creeping her out even more than he already had. He came to a stop in front of her, slightly to her right just so he'd have time to side step if she wanted to try, and be stupid, and attack.
"Do I look happy to you? Because if I do, there's something seriously wrong with you, and your definition of happy." His fangs still remained hidden behind his upper lip, but the itch to let them extend again was something he could hardly avoid. His nostrils flared for a moment as he raised his head slowly, twin harks still pinned flatly against his crown. He shook his crown, and narrowed his eyes at her in a glare. He wasn't digging her, and her attitude now. Still, she wasn't cowering in fear, but she wasn't stupid enough to walk up to him and hug him like this other mare had been. She ended up having her blood drank. He was, however, kind enough not to drain her of all her life blood, and end her pathetic existence upon this earth. He couldn't do it because something about her had reminded him about Arrabella.
Now that he thought about it, this mare reminded him about her as well. Why did he see her in mare he met. Maybe it was this mares wits. Maybe it was her natural beauty. Though, he didn't really care about appearance at all. He would never look at another mare like that again. Not with love, anyways. How was he supposed to when Arrabella took his heart with her when she died? Don't believe me? Just look into his eyes. Listen to his words. Did you see happiness? All I see is hatred, an inferno of emotions no one wants to confront. I'm not insane, I'm not insane. Suddenly, his twin harks perked forward, and he said "You seem to be waiting for me to lash out at you. I'm not going to harm a pretty little hair on your hide unless you give me reason to." That like rolled off of his tongue easily, and a smirk crossed his face.
He was glad he was able to weave a tail of lies easily because it made this game all the more fun. It'd be hard for her to tell the truth from a lie. And he loved that idea.

renounce, right now, BLACK and WHITE
there is shame within your PRIDE
yearn to live and breathe yet longing to DIE
Hell, friends, is a real place. For those of you like macho man here, slinking and fearless in the night, it is a long, long way away. A phantom, threatening just at the edge of the world, a place you might never see. For the skullfaced Bleeze, however, it is right there with her, all the time, dogging her steps and flitting just out of the edges of her vision.
It reminds her that she is mortal.
It reminds her that there are things that go bump in the night, and things that are malicious with intent, like Runihura.
It reminds her that fear can save your life, keep you from harm.
The mare shifted slightly as the stallion moved, muscles twitching, tensing and relaxing with each step he took. She moved with him again, because Lord knew what he would do to her if he found out she couldn't see past the sharp curve of her ram's horns. More mind games, perhaps, the kind she couldn't work around and usually fell blindly into. Keeping the black stallion in her line of sight at all times, Bleeze slid her hindquarters around with his quick circle of her, noting that he retracted his pretty little fangs, but not feeling reassured, despite his honeyed words.
You didn't turn your back on the serpent, and you didn't believe a word of what he said. Hell had taught her that, and a fine teacher it had made.
Facing him again, Bleeze lifted her white head to match his stare, and yes, how he thought himself frightening then, thought to faze her with a look, but why change your method, boy, when making skullface here uneasy had been as easy as encroaching on her personal space?
"You expect me to believe a word of that?" Bleeze snorted in response to Runihura's claim that he wouldn't hurt her. She was feeling pretty good in her ability to throw him off by calling out his fibs, though she was in a sticky situation that she couldn't merely walk her way out of.

It was all a game. A deadly game. And if she took the wrong turn, or said the wrong thing, she could very well lose the game. It was all exciting to the stallion that hardly saw any thing worth being excited for. This was a dance, the way she moved when he moved. He moved to her left, and she moved to his right. If he moved toward her she moved back away from him. She was smart, and knew how to play it safe. And she could read a lie from the truth. But that didn't mean he had to confirm what she had said. For all she knew, what she said was a lie. And he was going to play on that. "And how do you know that? Have I given you a reason to fear me, yet? Tell me, what was your first clue?" An eyebrow quirked up for a moment before his crown shook once more.
He moved over to the side, and waited for her to move away from him. To be quite honest, he was getting bored, and something had to change before he just decided to walk away. He moved forward again, this time not stopping. He was testing her. And he allowed his fangs to peek from under his top lip, just to seep what she would do. It was an ass hole move, but he didn't care. She was his source of entertainment at the moment, and he wasn't about to let her slip away from him. "C'mon on, darlin'. I'm not going to hurt you. I haven't touched you yet, have I?" The lyrics were robust, and true, and he meant it. But that didn't mean he wouldn't touch her. Not if she wasn't smart enough to move. That's when he reached out to touch her, just to make her jump. He of course was on guard, ready to move away.
He came within inches of touching her before side stepping, avoiding a thwack to the head from her horns.

it's in the WATER it's in the AIR NOW
it's in your VEINS, you HOPE TO DIE There was a certain amount of "funning around" that Bleeze could take. Hey, she's a relatable person, with a sense of humor and everything, but, unfortunately, she wasn't in to this kind of thing. She wasn't in to dancing with snakes, and here she was, two for tango with this creep.
The grey sky above roiled and tossed, damp, misty breeze curling through the trees above, and running its wet fingers through the mare's short mane. Rain was coming, she thought vaguely, sometime in the future. Maybe the next two hours.
And then he was moving forward, her golden eyes tracking him from within her black and white face. The black pearl bounced against the mare's onyx chest as she stepped back, and for some reason, she calmed down inexplicably, suddenly tired of this game, and feeling a little childish for having participated for so long. So, as he reached his muzzle out to touch her -- she could feel his warm breath on the curve of her sleek, thick neck --, she did strike out at him, a mere swing of her head, aiming to knock his skull with one of her horns, a warning. He seemed to avoid it easily enough. Good: she would simply have hated to harm a hair on his pretty little head.
Bleeze didn't have a witty reply for Runihura, as she rarely did, but now would have been the time to use it.
"Really, don't you have better things to do than annoy me?" She grumbled at him, shifting back a step or two. She was calmer now, not relaxed.

As she swung at him he leapt swiftly, and easily away from her. His columns took the full of his weight as he backed away from her. However, amusement was written across his face as he arched an eyebrow at her. Did he have anything better to do than mess around with her, and annoy her? No, actually he didn't. A frown flitted across his mug for a few moments before he brushed it off easily, and replaced the frown with a confident smirk. Darlin', I rather think you enjoy this confrontation. After all, you have those horns there. As you've already proved before just a few seconds ago, they are dangerous. If you really wanted to you could push me again. A evil gleam glitted in his eyes for a few moments before he ventured forward once more.
So tell me, Bleeze. Why do you cower in the corner like a scared, trapped mouse. That is not what you are, is it? His lyrics were taunting as his tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth to tsk her. And here I was thinking you were confident in yourself. As he spoke the words the corners of his maw turned down slightly into mock concern as he danced forward once more. He was completely relaxed, and if I were the mare I'd be somewhat unnerved by his cool attitude. Runihura raised his head higher to peer down at her. He moved toward her once more, and this time didn't stop until he nearly came chest to chest with her. He dropped his maw to look her in the optics.
Tell me, does this make you uncomfortable?
